Extra-Curricular Clubs
Clubs in primary school are an essential part of a child’s development, offering opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. They allow pupils to explore new interests, discover hidden talents and build confidence in a supportive environment. Whether focused on sport, the arts, technology or academic enrichment, clubs encourage teamwork, perseverance and creativity while helping children develop important social skills. They also promote wellbeing by providing a positive outlet for energy and self-expression. Importantly, clubs create additional opportunities for friendship across year groups, strengthening the sense of community within the school and ensuring that every child has the chance to feel included, valued and inspired.

Drumba
Drumba (drumming) in primary school is a powerful way to support children’s creativity, confidence and wellbeing. Through rhythm and percussion, pupils develop listening skills, coordination and a strong sense of timing, while also improving concentration and teamwork. Drumming sessions encourage collaboration, as children must work together to keep a shared beat, fostering cooperation and mutual respect. It also provides an inclusive and engaging outlet for self-expression, allowing every child to participate and succeed regardless of prior musical experience. Beyond musical skills, drumming builds resilience, boosts self-esteem and creates a joyful sense of unity, contributing positively to both personal development and the wider school community.
